Background

Stacie is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who provides therapy services to young adults.  Through her experiences she has developed a philosophy which includes the belief that constructive change is most successful when therapeutic interventions are utilized. She integrates a variety of counseling approaches in her work including Mindfulness Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy qualifications.

Stacie focuses on the many demands of adulthood. Managing relationships, employment, school and daily life tasks can feel completely overwhelming. She encourages clients to both verbally process life stressors and take action. What does taking action look like in therapy? Maybe it's paying a parking ticket that hasn't been paid yet but continues to be a source of stress. Or, maybe it's creating a weekly calendar to help organize your schedule. Whatever the task may be, you to leave our sessions feeling accomplished and motivated.

Stacie has 9+ years combined experience in education and social services, and particularly enjoy working with young adults who are seeking the skills to become independent.

Payment & insurance

A 50-minute session is $110. Stacie is an out-of-network provider. Payment by check or credit cards is due at the time of service.  Stacie provides receipts for those who wish to submit claims for insurance reimbursement. It is each patient’s responsibility to inquire with their insurance about their out-of-network benefits so that they know what to expect upon submission of insurance claim forms.

Training

Stacie received her B.S. in Education at Penn State University.  She began her career as a teacher in inner-city Philadelphia. Eventually she came to see that the academic pressure being placed on students was not being met with appropriate emotional support, and thus she moved to Seattle to pursue her Masters.  She graduated with honors from Seattle University's Community Mental Health program.  Stacie is a Certified PEERS® Instructor.

Stacie is licensed in Washington State: MC60705843
