Janelle Smith MSW, LSWAIC

Coach, Clinical Case Manager, PEERS® Facilitator

My Role

As a Coach at redpoint, I am dedicated to helping young adults achieve their goals by identifying and building on their strengths. I meet clients where they are and support them in navigating life's transitions with confidence, resilience, accountability, and encouragement.

My professional background includes supporting young adults in achieving academic, vocational, and social goals. Throughout my career, I have provided team leadership, direct case management, and crisis intervention services, all grounded in a healing-centered approach. I bring a holistic and systems-oriented perspective to my work, helping young people strengthen their self-esteem, self-advocacy, and sense of determination while better understanding and navigating the often complex systems that shape their experiences.

Working Style

My approach is strength-based, collaborative, and client-driven. I am passionate about building meaningful, trusting relationships and creating a space where clients feel safe to be themselves. I bring compassion, curiosity, collaboration, and a healthy sense of humor to my work, helping foster an environment where clients and families feel seen, heard, and supported.

I feel deeply honored to be part of a client's journey. I enjoy helping individuals break larger goals into manageable action steps, problem-solve challenges as they arise, and build momentum toward meaningful change. Whether a client is pursuing education, employment, greater independence, or personal growth, I strive to provide steady support and encouragement, especially when the path forward feels uncertain or overwhelming.

Beyond redpoint

Outside of redpoint, you'll most likely find me at a Sounders match, attending a concert, playing soccer on one of Seattle's many fields, or on a dance floor somewhere. I also enjoy hiking, exploring the Pacific Northwest, and spending time with my husband and our Red Heeler, Stevie.
