Stefanie Niesz, MSW, LICSW

Owner, Clinical Social Worker

My Role

I oversee the day‑to‑day operations of redpoint and work closely with our multidisciplinary team, providing clinical supervision, oversight, and ongoing guidance to ensure high‑quality, ethical care. In my clinical role, I lead new client consultations, offer family consultations focused on future planning and thoughtful next steps, provide individual coaching, and collaborate closely with families to support growth and skill development across home, school, and community settings.

I maintain strong relationships with community providers, schools, and regional resources, staying current on available supports to promote seamless coordination and continuity of care. During periods of acute stress or crisis, I also partner with individuals and families to navigate hospitalization, insurance, higher levels of care, housing, state and federal benefits, discharge planning, safety planning, and broader system coordination—helping ensure clients feel supported, informed, and not alone during challenging transitions.

Working Style

My working style is relational, compassionate, and collaborative, grounded in a genuine belief that meaningful progress happens in the context of strong, trusting relationships. I value honesty, creativity, and approachability, and I strive to meet clients and families with warmth, curiosity, and respect—wherever they are in their journey.

I am highly action‑oriented and goal‑focused, with a reputation for helping clients “get things done.” I enjoy breaking big goals into clear, manageable steps, creating practical tools and checklists, and translating insights into concrete action. I place strong emphasis on follow‑through and momentum, while also making space to celebrate progress along the way—whether the win is big or small. My aim is to help clients feel supported, empowered, and confident as they move forward with clarity and purpose.

Beyond redpoint

I enjoy traveling, scuba diving (often choosing vacations based on dive sites and underwater adventures), tackling DIY projects, gardening, hiking, cycling, relaxing by the fire, and spending quality time with family and friends.
